Hi,

Trig has announced the new TT22 transponder. It is identical to the TT21,
except that it is a Class 1 transponder with 250W output. That means it is
certified for use up to 35,000 feet.

The TT21 has been extremely popular.

I imagine that most glider pilots will use the TT21 because it uses less
power. It is rated for use up to 15,000 feet, but works up to 35,000 feet.

Just to clarify what this means: If you happen to fly in a region where
a transponder is mandatory, then class 1 is required above 15'000 feet.
